Part Time KS1 Teacher

The Governors would like to appoint a dedicated teacher to join an excellent team of staff committed to delivering a broad and balanced curriculum with exciting and creative learning opportunities.

This post is suitable for ECTs and RQTs, as well as experienced teachers. The successful candidate will be working in one of our KS1 classes for two and a half days, with a job share partner who is already in post working 3 days a week.

This is a fixed term contract until 31st August 2023, but is likely to extend beyond this date.

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • is a committed and caring classroom practitioner
  • has a sound understanding of the National Curriculum and its implementation
  • demonstrates excellent teaching using a wide range of teaching methods to motivate  and inspire learners
  • is committed to meeting the needs of all learners, including those who are disadvantaged, are learning English as an additional language or have special educational needs
  • has the ability to work effectively and contribute positively within a team environment
  • sets high expectations for the attitudes and behaviour of everyone
  • is able to work well in partnership with staff, governors and parents
  • is committed to their own professional development
